I'm getting really excited about all the progress we have been making on the wedding. I have started to find flowers and arrangements that I like, Matt is picking out the tux this coming weekend, and the guest lists are starting to take on some shape.

The lovely Cousett has been a darling and has been indulging me in all sorts of website fancies. Let's see what comes out of it all. Testing and tweaking and all sorts of things going on :-)

One of the big items on the list to prepare has been music. Mass music, reception music, processional music... It looks like one of our friends will be gracious enough to sing at mass, and we are working the local contacts to find a DJ. Of course, this has meant that I have spent far too many hours listening to samples and looking at other's lists already.

In other news, there will be a meeting of the families (sans the Bride unless they decide to teleconference me in!) in Austin, since Matt's brother is moving down for school. Let's see what comes of it all - probably even more tasks and decisions!

To-do's for the next two weeks:
  • Matt pick out tux, get measurements from groomsmen
  • Finalize guest lists and get all addresses collected (hey, send us your address!)
  • Start compiling reception music list
  • Look at and decide on mass readings and music
